Armobsoft FZE sells the player. We sell the line. Those are two receipts.
People get stuck on step one of the setup ladder because they think "IPTV" is one icon you download, the way the YouTube TV app is one icon. YouTube TV's own welcome page, same morning, still prices the main plan at $82.99/mo on YouTube TV. That app is the service. An IPTV player is the opposite. Empty until you paste a username, a password, and a server URL.

If a page titled "best IPTV apps" never prices the line, it answered a different search. Keep it for player quirks. Do not use it as a store.
Which IPTV app should I put on the stick first?
Put IPTV Smarters on first if you just want the picture. Put TiviMate on first if you already know you will live in the guide. I have both on the same 4K Max. Same Xtream login. Same channels. Different furniture.

OTT Navigator sits in the same thread as a sleeper. u/Dragonzool called the UI sleek and named the one real hole: no recording. I have not made it my default. If you want a second opinion after TiviMate, it is the one power users mention. It still contains no channels.
How do TiviMate, IPTV Smarters, and OTT Navigator actually differ?

I left XCIPTV, GSE Smart IPTV, Sparkle, and IMPlayer off the table on purpose. They show up in roundups. They are still empty players. IMPlayer is the one TiviMate users envy for remote playlist management. None of them replace a line. None of them are sold by us.
TiviMate Premium is optional. The free build plays the playlist. The $33.99 lifetime on Google Play for TiviMate Premium unlocks extras (multi-view, more EPG days, up to five devices on that listing) and still includes no channels. Do not let a reseller named "TiviMate something" sell you a year of TV under the app's brand. Armobsoft does not sell channels.
Will an IPTV app even install on my Firestick?
Only on Fire OS. Vega OS will not sideload TiviMate, Smarters, or Downloader the old way. The app cannot save a locked box.
I run this on a Fire TV Stick 4K Max. If you do not own a stick yet and you want an IPTV app on it, buy a Fire TV Stick 4K Max, $59.99 list at Amazon, or the older Fire TV Stick 4K at $49.99 list. Both still ran Fire OS as of June 2026. Do not buy a Fire TV Stick 4K Select ($39.99) or the second-generation Fire TV Stick HD ($34.99, ships since 29 April 2026). Those two run Vega OS. TiviMate is not in the Amazon Appstore, so a Vega stick is a Netflix box.
Ars Technica reported the lock on 17 April 2026: from the 4K Select onward, future Fire TV Sticks run Vega and do not support consumer sideloading. AFTVnews published the aisle test on 11 June 2026. Wi-Fi 5, squared corners, no "Fire TV" print on the plastic is Fire OS. Wi-Fi 6, rounded corners, "Fire TV" on the stick is Vega. Read the box. We do not ship a stick. Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart do.
Already own a 4K Max that sideloads? Keep it. "Upgrading" into a 4K Select is how people email help@firestickiptvs.com asking why Downloader vanished. The hardware matrix lives in the pillar. This page assumes the stick in the HDMI port still lets you install unknown apps.
How do I load the IPTV app without a fake menu screenshot?
I will not fake Fire TV settings. Amazon changes those labels every firmware, and a generated menu is a wrong menu. Words only.
- On a Fire OS stick, open Settings, then My Fire TV, then Developer Options. Turn on installs from unknown sources for Downloader.
- Install Downloader from the Amazon Appstore. It is free. The listing is the AFTVnews one with the orange icon. That is the sideload pipe, not the player.
- Open Downloader and enter the short code from our activation email. That pulls the IPTV Smarters install file. Tap Install, then Open.
- In Smarters, choose Login with Xtream Codes API. Type the server URL, username, and password exactly. One extra space is enough to fail. ManIPTV's setup notes still say that in 2026, and it is still the ticket I answer most.
- Wait about 30 seconds for the list and the EPG. If the guide stays blank but channels play, that is an EPG URL problem, not a dead line. If nothing plays, the login is wrong or the stick is on Vega.

Does paying for TiviMate get me live TV?

A blank player plus a cheap lifetime login is how people get burned. Forums still warn about crypto-only, no trial, WhatsApp as the only paper trail, and 140,000-channel screenshots that are duplicates plus dead feeds. If they will not let you test the app with a real feed on the stick you watch on, walk away. Our trial is two days, no card, and the paid grid is the same feed. Hulu is the other mash I see in comments. Hulu's live-TV page this morning still lists Hulu + Live TV with Disney+ and ESPN Select at $99.99/month on Hulu's live-TV page. A spare in the kitchen lies. So does a midday test. Evening ISP shaping is still the complaint TroyPoint and IPTVForum both rank above "the server is bad."
Then do four cheap checks the app itself can show you:
- Open a live match or a prime-time show at your usual hour.
- Change channel ten times. A pretty EPG with sticky zaps is a different product from a pretty EPG that stalls.
